Describe your career at Trinity (JH, JV, Varsity), coaches, and team success during that time.

I played on the JV volleyball team in 6th grade and was pulled up to varsity at the end of the season for Districts and Regionals. It was exciting but intimidating to be playing with girls who were so much older than me.

This year, I played on varsity for Coach Lawrence and Coach Buttrey. We had a great season and made it to the district championship game, where we played very close with Episcopal. I really enjoyed the season and was sad for it to end.

When did you start playing Volleyball?

I started playing volleyball when I was 10 years old after I attended a summer camp with my best friend.

Why do you attend Trinity, and in what grade did you begin?

I moved to Trinity in 4th grade from public school because my parents wanted me to have a Christian education.

Where else have you played volleyball?

I play club volleyball at JJVA (Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association)

What other sports do you play?

I do not play any other sports because I play volleyball year-round.

Describe your academic success and personal fulfillment at Trinity.

I am in the National Junior Honor Society and in honors classes at TCA.

Where do you plan to play college volleyball?

I would like to play college volleyball at a large Division 1 university that is nationally ranked – such as UF.

What college teams have shown interest in you?

USF and UCSB

Do you have any siblings who play sports?

My older sister, Mya, also plays volleyball for Trinity and JJVA.

How much have your parents helped you in your volleyball pursuit?

My parents make sure I get a private lesson once a week; attend most of my practices; make sure I go to skills clinics, camps, and tournaments; and buy all my volleyball gear.

Whom else would you like to thank for your success?

I would like to thank all my coaches from Trinity and JJVA, especially my coach/mentor, Candace Lunford. Also, my sisters Mya and Makenzie and my grandparents.
